Meadowmont Goes Green!

As of Nov. 1 the following activities are scheduled by MMGG:

Participation in these activities is encouraged and open to all Meadowmont residents:

1) Brunch Bunch/Green Saturday: Every third Saturday of each month. The next one will be on Saturday November 15 at the Carolina Cafe in the Village from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A get together to meet people, have coffee and talk.

MMGG will have a collection bin available to drop of  compact  Fluorescent light bulbs (not the long ones) and small batteries (AA,AAA,C,D,9V,watch, medical batteries etc) These hazardous waste products will be properly recycled by the Town of Chapel Hill after our collection.

2) MMGG and HABITAT HAND-ME-UP Store have joined together to recycle small and larger articles. Habitat Hand-Me-Up Store will provide a collection site for snall itens and will collect large items at your home.
